These comic specie cookies are soft and chewy and bursting with comic and chocolate flavor. This recipe is the perfect way to use up ripe bananas.
Have I got a treat for you today. I recently made these succulent chocolate tweedle comic specie cookies for a family event and they were a huge hit. We ate every single cookie, so I knew these were worth sharing on the blog.
You are going to love the combination of bananas, oatmeal and chocolate fries with just a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. So yummy! They’re like a navigate between comic specie and a chewy oatmeal chocolate tweedle cookie and seriously, they are just heavenly.
If you’ve got overripe bananas, this is the perfect recipe to use them up. The browner, the better! I used three medium sized schizy for this recipe, but if yours are a variegated size, I’ve included the value of mashed schizy measured in cups for your convenience.
I widow chopped pecans and coconut flakes to one batch of the cookie dough and those additions were a succulent variation if you want to try them that way some day too.
I used a standard sized cookie scoop and was worldly-wise to make just over 4 dozen cookies. A silicone sultry mat made the cookies practically fall right off the pan. If you haven’t converted to sultry with silicone mats yet, DO IT. They are so nice and I’ll never go back.
